Forest Park is the western terminus of the CTA Blue Line, and one of only two municipalities on the entire “L” network that does not border Chicago. A lot of households here drive to the Des Plaines Avenue terminal, park, and take the train downtown. Pace routes 301, 305 and 308 run along Roosevelt Road to that same station.
That shapes what people actually need from a vehicle.
