A Personal Cause
Pediatric brain cancer claims more lives of children in this country than any other disease, and federal research funding toward it is severely lacking. That’s why the bulk of the Violet Foundation’s budget goes directly toward research projects—with 12 currently active today. Beyond research, the foundation also supports families in their time of need. Since its founding, 188 families in 27 states—including many here in the Chicago area—have received support. The Violet Foundation was founded to support research for pediatric brain cancer and provide aid to families who lose income while their children fight for their lives.
Currie Chevrolet: Making an Impact in Forest Park
As part of the Forest Park community, Currie Chevrolet will donate $10 for every vehicle sold in October to help fund this crucial cause. Every dollar goes directly to the foundation’s grants, benefiting over 100 families in 22 states. The Violet Foundation is 100% volunteer-run, ensuring that all funds raised go directly to research and family support.
Driven for Kids
The Driven for Kids campaign seeks to unite dealerships across the country. What started with 60 dealerships in 2022 has grown to include 120 participants last year. This year, Currie Chevrolet in Forest Park is honored to join forces with dealers nationwide to raise awareness and contribute to the fight against pediatric brain cancer.
